Former Anstey's Cove Hotel

We were commissioned as the architects on this site of a former hotel, after the owners had failed to secure Planning Consent. A study of the area gave rise to an Art Deco inspired statement building. Jade green aluminium windows and canopies are some of the details that give this building the 1930's feel reminiscent of the Hoover Building in London.

Planning Permission was secured in 2007 for nine luxury apartments. The site was then sold to a developer and we have had no further involvement unfortunately. This is evidenced by the poor interpretation of our designs and general execution of the development.
